Chelate Concentration

Redline not only has the purest form of ortho-ortho EDDHA, it also has the highest percentage of it. This makes it last in the soil much longer than 10-34-0 and other chelated fertilizers.

Application

You can apply Redline in-furrow or foliar, but research shows that in-furrow applications are most effective.

Redline has a low-salt formulation that’s noncorrosive and safe to apply in the root zone without risking seedling injury to most crops.

Redline may be red in color, but it won’t stain your tank, and it’s far less sticky than 10-34-0.

Redline can be applied alone, with water or premixed with additional liquid fertilizer.

Corn and Sugar Beets

  • Apply 3–4 gal/Ac alone.
  • Mix 1–3 gal/Ac with additional liquid fertilizer.

Soybeans and Dry Edible Beans

  • Apply 1–3 gal/Ac alone or with water for better distribution in the furrow.
  • Note that Redline does not have enough iron (Fe) to correct iron deficiency chlorosis in soybeans.

Redline works best when mixed with enough water to equal a rate of 10 gal/Ac for better foliar coverage.

All Crops

  • Apply 1–4 gal/Ac to either supplement an existing fertility program or correct a nutrient deficiency.

Mixing With Phosphorus or 10–34–0

  • Redline can be mixed with a phosphorus (P) product for soils that have low (P) levels.
  • A phosphorus (P) product does not need to be mixed with Redline for soils that test (P) above medium.
  • When mixing Redline with 10-34-0, make applications within a couple of days to avoid 10-34-0 quality issues.

Micronutrient Volume

  • Redline supplies soil with a similar amount of iron (Fe) as 1 lb/Ac of Soygreen® at a 3 gal/Ac application rate.
  • Redline supplies soil with 1.2 qt/Ac of zinc (Zn) at a 3 gal/Ac use rate.
  • Zinc (Zn) within Redline is 100% EDTA chelated.
  • All micronutrients within Redline are either EDTA or ortho-ortho EDDHA chelated.

Precautions

  • Do not tank mix Redline with zinc (Zn) fertilizers that are not 100% EDTA chelated.
  • Redline is tank-mix compatible with Force® CS and Capture® LFR® insecticide. Refer to their respective product labels for rate recommendations.
  • Always clean out planters at the end of the season by flushing them with water.
  • Always conduct a jar test if adding additional products to the Redline tank mix.
