Chelate Concentration

Redline, Soygreen and Copper-Field are all chelated with the purest, most highly concentrated ortho-ortho EDDHA that exists.

The Chelation Process

Many fertilizer products contain two types of chelate. That’s where the similarities end.

Ortho-Para EDDHA Ortho-Ortho EDDHA

Ortho-Para EDDHA Chelate

This type of chelate forms an incomplete bond around positively charged nutrients.

Ortho-Ortho EDDHA Ortho-Ortho EDDHA

Ortho-Ortho EDDHA Chelate

This type of chelate fully protects positively charged nutrients.

Fertilizer Formulation

When fertilizer products are manufactured, some nutrients get chelated with the incomplete bond of ortho-para EDDHA, and some get chelated with the full protection of ortho-ortho EDDHA.

Nutrients in a fertilizer formula that get chelated with ortho-para EDDHA are left open to bind with negatively charged soil components. This makes them insoluble for uptake by plants.

Nutrients chelated with ortho-ortho EDDHA are fully protected, which means they’re soluble for uptake by plants.

The more ortho-ortho EDDHA in a fertilizer the better.
